Jockey Graham Gibbons was banned for two days (Monday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 24) following the opening Juddmonte Diomed Stakes.

The stewards held that Gibbons’ mount, the winner Blythe Knight, had interfered with the second Alexandros, ridden by Frankie Dettori.

This was due to careless riding on Gibbons’ part in that he caused his mount to drift left without taking sufficient corrective action.

The placings were unaltered as the stewards held that the interference had not improved Blythe Knight’s placing.
