The 10 finalists
Ladies took centre stage both on and off the course at Epsom's Ladies Day. On the turf, the finest fillies battled out the finish for the Juddmonte Oaks, while off the track ladies competed to win the prestigious Style on The Downs title.
Our Style on The Downs competition has run since 2005, and each year the finalists have stepped up a gear in the fashion stakes. A record number of 280 ladies entered the competition and were whittled down to a shortlist of 10. The final 10 were judged by the Face of the Festival Catherine Dettori, milliner Gina Foster and Jeep representative Nigel Land. The Style on The Downs final took place in the Winner's Circle after the third race and was also broadcast on the BBC
The winner was Vanessa Jakovich, who lives in Clapham Junction. Vanessa's outfit was from an Australian shop called Miin, and her hat is by Stephen Jones. Vanessa picked up her parasol on her way to the racecourse at Clapham Junction! Originally from a little village outside Perth, Vanessa has lived in the UK for 2 years. Second place went to Layla Jordan from Wallington and 3rd place was won by Maria Cheslin from Southampton.

All 10 finalists received a pink goody bag containing £100 of Dr Lewinn's products and other treats.
