Scouting For Girls - Thursday 23rd July

Brit award nominees, Scouting For Girls, join the Epsom Live! line up, the indie-pop trio will be making their Epsom debut and performing live after racing on Thursday 23rd July.

Capping an outstanding 18 months, Scouting For Girls enjoyed a fantastic night at the prestigious Brit Awards 2009. It was two years to the day that the band signed their record deal and the band were nominated for 'British Breakthrough Act', 'British Live Act' and 'British Single' for Heartbeat.

The pop trio made up of singer Roy Stride, bassist Greg Churchouse and drummer Peter Ellard, all 29, enjoyed a phenomenal 2008 with one of the biggest selling British albums of the year, achieving double-platinum status for their number 1, debut album. The phenomenal popularity of Scouting For Girls has seen the band touring endlessly, performing to over 500,000 fans at sell-out shows across the country and squeezing in extra dates to appease their fans' insatiable demand.
