The Derby Festival at Epsom Downs Racecourse has become one of the most stylish events of the summer. Hats have always been compulsory for ladies in the Queen's Stand on Derby Day, but many others choose to wear them. Ladies Day now competes in the style stakes as well, with many racegoers getting dressed up to enter the Style on The Downs competition, for which wearing a hat or a fascinator is compulsory.
